DAY 1.- We start early in the morning, we´ll pick you up from your hotel and take you to the shores of the Piuray lagoon, 45min from Cusco.
The hike starts at 8:30 a.m. and goes for 4 hours. It follows the perimeter of Piuray lagoon(3750m), visiting Umasbamba village and surrounding communities. We will be able to have a taste of the local customs of Chincheros communitiy.
Overnight at our colonial house, where you can take part of an Inka shamanic ceremony to purify body and soul. We will also make an offering of gratitude to mother earth ¨Pachamama¨, and we will also have a session of coca leafs reading, the most powerful and precise oracle of the andes.

DAY 2.- After breakfast, we will visit an exhibition of traditional textiles and fabrics, and how villagers manufacture their clothes, dyeing alpaca fibers with plants and flowers. Then we will visit chinchero archeological site and the colonial chapel of Nativity Virgin, which is a jewel of the colonial era with impressive paintings of the Cusco art school. Then we will walk to the waterfall of Pocpoc, an ancient sacred place where Inka priests performed water rituals for the purification of souls. From here we continue to the Sacred Valley (Urquillos) through a trail that discovers forests of local flora and eucaliptus. In Urquillos our transport will be waiting for us to return to Cusco.
