Pick up at your hotel in Cusco and transfer to the town of Huayopata. It is a 4 hour private bus ride with your guide on board. In the middle of the trip to Huayopata there will be a visit and explanation of the snow-capped mountain called “La Veronica” where you can appreciate the beauty of these places.

Arriving in Huayopata we have lunch and settle in for the night. But of course it is not over yet, once we are settled we will go for a walk to the farm. After a tasting of the exotic fruits of the place you will see the process of obtaining coffee: picking – washing – peeling – roasting – grinding – direct consumption.

Waking up in the early morning we go to the forest to hear the trill of the birds and observe them in their habitat. How they build their nests, how they feed and live. You will see the courtship of the endemic birds that live in this locality, then go to the dining room for breakfast consisting of local products such as bananas, fried cassava, avocado, coffee and chocolate.

After breakfast we will take a beautiful hike to the town of Santa Teresa to go to the thermal baths of Santa Teresa. In the afternoon we have lunch in Santa Teresa or Hidroelectrica before boarding the train to Aguas Calientes, the train ride will take approximately 45 minutes to get to Aguas Calientes (the closest town to Machu Picchu). We settle in at the hotel in Aguas Calientes and have dinner at a restaurant.

Early in the morning we head to the boarding of the buses to go up to the archaeological center of Machu Picchu, one of the wonders of the world, where your private guide will tell you all the history of this wonderful place. Then we return to Aguas Calientes for lunch, and then take the train back to Cusco.
